The Archos 13 is powered by an impressive 10-cell battery which, although Archos gives no official figures, could provide as much as 10 or 12 hours of battery life.
Last up is the education focused Archos Classmate, which began its development as part of a French government initiative for primary school children. The device is designed to be durable, and sports a shock-proof casing, water-resistant keyboard and integrated carrying handle. Under the hood, the Classmate has all the features found in most of today’s netbooks.
The notebook has a nice, sturdy feel to it and is the perfect size for holding, whether in laptop or tablet mode. The keyboard has full size keys and is very comfortable to use. What we do know for certain is the G71gx will come with Nvidia’s newest mobile GPU, the GTX 260M. Plus, Dell 1691P,it can be configured for SLI and Hybrid SLI, although the G71gx will initially offer just one of the GPUs. As for RAM and storage, the G71gx can handle up to 12 GB of DDR2 memory over three memory slots and can be configured with up to 1 TB of storage (two 500 GB drives).

In other words, they’re not good for gaming or video editing, but perfect for taking notes in class or at a meeting, hopping on the Web, or making a PowerPoint presentation on the road (provided you get one with video output).
In related news, Lenovo(ThinkPad X60 Tablet battery) has begun selling “large capacity” versions of the IdeaPad S10 in the US. For an extra $50 over the price of the base model, these units come with 1GB of RAM and a 160GB hard drive, both of which are twice what you get on the “general computing” models.
