If you can get over the shell which makes a Packard Bell look like a MacBook Pro, the Red Fox WizBook N1020i is a netbook with more than respectable specs: a 10.2-inch screen, 17-inch PowerBook G4,Atom processor, 1GB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive and Wi-Fi. But the Red Fox netbook also comes with Bluetooth 3.0, making it the first to use the new standard unveiled a few months ago.
That means no more sitting around waiting minutes on end to transfer one picture: with the Bluetooth 3.0, the Red Fox WizBook N1020i should be able to dish out files outside of a hotspot at up to 24Mbps. In theory, that means streaming HD video, although since the Red Fox laptop’s screen tops out at 1024×600, that’s not happening.

Besides X320, X600 and X340 laptops, MSI will soon be launching its X-slim X400 laptop, reports Engadget. The news was apparently announced at a company event.
Internally, the laptop packs quite a punch. The 2.66GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor is as powerful as you’ll find in this sort of laptop and is coupled with a stunning 4096MB of DDR3 memory, Acer Aspire 1360 battery, which ensures the laptop runs smoothly and fast.
Included in the box is an MSIrebranded Cyber Snipa Stinger mouse and a high-quality backpack-style carry bag. The onboard audio card is capable of 7.1-channel surround sound, and while the built-in 4.1-channel speakers do their job admirably, having the option to hook this system up to a high-end speaker system without the need for a bulky expansion card is certainly a nice one.
