In an attempt to differentiate itself from other netbook suppliers, Archos is bundling a 12-month free trial of Microsoft Office 2007, and six-month trial versions of Parental Filter and BitDefender Antivirus 2009. The device also comes with an £80 voucher to download films from the Archos Media Club.
With a small form-factor, overall dimensions of the XT2 are 11.7 x 8.7 x 1.1 inches and it weighs approximately 3.62 pounds with standard 4-cell battery (3.78 pounds with the optional 6-cell 17-inch PowerBook G4battery).
Based on Intel’s Centrino 2 platform, the G71gx is a force to be reckoned with in the mobile gaming market.
